Key Responsibilities of the MERN Stack Web Engineer

As a MERN Stack Web Engineer, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Building and deploying robust SaaS, CotS, and custom-developed applications to meet client needs.
• Implementing cloud-native design patterns using platforms like Azure or Google Cloud, depending on the project scope.
• Applying modern application architecture best practices such as SOA, API-Centric Design, Twelve-Factor App, and FAIR principles to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Participating in a DevSecOps culture by following secure coding standards, using CI/CD pipelines, and practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Developing and managing API-first integration patterns to support modular and scalable backend systems.
• Implementing secure and reliable authentication and authorization protocols to protect data and access.
• Supporting digital platform stability by contributing to integration, release management, regression testing, and data obfuscation processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including UI/UX designers, testers, and cloud engineers—to continuously optimize the performance, scalability, and security of deployed applications.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Must-Have for the MERN Stack Web Engineer Role:

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js.
• Solid understanding of modern full-stack development, along with a passion for web technologies.
• Experience in building and integrating API ecosystems using API-first design principles.
• Expertise in DevSecOps, particularly CI/CD pipelines and TDD.
• Practical knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, or OpenID.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, coupled with organizational and communication abilities.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with data obfuscation and secure data handling techniques.
